Carnival Workers Outreach - 2026 is our 22nd Anniversary!

September 2, 2026 | On Wed evening Sept 2nd, we welcome the Sheboygan County Fair carnival workers to our community & engage them as people who are seen, known, & loved. 
We prepare & serve a free home-cooked meal after a long day of set up.
We offer free personal care items & healthy snacks.
We visit and offer to pray with them.
Jesus is at the center of it all and God is glorified!

Volunteer Opportunities
A prayer team is needed.
Be in prayer for the carnival workers during the fair.
PRAY that their heart's are open to the gospel, that Christ will be clearly proclaimed, for safety throughout the fair, blesssings on the midway & rides, and for the prayer requests they will submit on Wednesday night.

Homemade Desserts are Needed 
About 12 servings per dessert or 9x13 size.
Bring a dessert in a disposable dish to the church lobby Wed. Sep. 2 by 3pm .

Fresh Fruit Salad Needed: 

Purchase watermelon, cantaloupe, & honeydew. 

Prepare by cutting in salad size chunks.

Bring a 1-gallon disposable container of prepared fruit salad to the church lobby on Wed. Sep. 2 by 3pm.

Funds for a roaster oven of cheesy potatoes are needed. Drop $10 in an offering envelope marked "cheesy potatoes." Ten of these donations are needed.

4 Teens/Adults Needed:
Duties: Help sort donated personal care items into categories and prepare them for transport to the fairgrounds.


When: Sunday, Aug. 30, after 2nd service for about 90 minutes.

4 Additional Adults Needed: help us represent Jesus by welcoming and serving carnival guests with kindness and care.
Duties: Load, transport, set up, serve guests, tear down, clean up, and store supplies. 

Requirements:

4-hour commitment September 2nd.

ABLE TO stand, lift & carry items, serve, wash dishes, AND help with cleanup.

Carnival workers often have limited access to personal care items and healthy snacks. 

Help us bless them by donating 10 items from the suggested lists below by Sunday, Aug. 30.

We're serving 85 workers. Only 3 are females.

We'd love to receive 10 of each item, but any donation is appreciated!
